McDavid is better, but he also plays on average 5 minutes more a game than Matthews. They are playing him like 23:30 minutes per game. and only about 30 seconds on average is on the PK.

It’s certainly why Matthews has turned his team into a perennial playoff team, a top cup contender, and makes his teammates top league scorers.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We all know your motivation here. You're just upset that since he's been put on the same line as Matthews, Kapanen's progression has been stymied.
The same thing happened with Hyman, he was just dragged down by the anchor.

Matthews looks poised to have more team success, certainly. And that’s mainly due to Matthews’ ability to elevate his team.

As does Matthews’ ability to elevate his team. Probably the biggest reason why the Leafs are top contenders today.

Tavares and Marner on the 2nd line is a bigger reason
that's the difference between Matthews from Barkov, MacKinnon and McDavid
if we sub Nylander in then the next best forward from FLA COL and EDM are: Trocheck, Landeskog, and EDM???

Put Matthews on those other teams, and his teammates on those other teams will flourish too, along with his new team. Matthews is the cause of his team and teammates doing so well.
