- never had any training- thats true
- never fought- thats false. fought plenty in my life. Actually lost 3 teeth thanks to this.
Its NOT about strategy/tchnique. Its about beating the **** out of your opponent. If you beat oponent= you are tougher.
P4P is ********. Im the greatest P4P inventor in history. I mean, Im not the brightest kid, and never invented anything in my life, but IF i had Einstein IQ...
How do you think beating the **** out of your opponent happens ? It's just random and who wants it more ? That is PART of it but far from all of it.
A good example is when you throw a punch. People think its all shoulder/arms. It is if you dont have training/technique. A strike actually is comming from the ground up. Think of a series of motion from your feet, legs, hips, on up. From technique you gain much more power, speed ect. That is why you can have a man who is say, 5'6 165lbs hit much harder than an arm throwing (tough guy) who is 6' 200 lbs.
On the defensive side, feet positioning, head movement, hand placement ect(part of technique) plays a very big role in keeping you safe so to speak.
strategy- to sum it up is damned near everything. For exp, im short, compact and muscular. If im fighting some guy that is 6'1 I can't possibly win a jab contest(outside fighting). I know that, he knows that(if he knows what he is doing. I have to protect myself, wait for an opening and get in close(much rather take him to the ground). Why ? Because im putting myself in a good situation.
Strategy no matter what the hobby, sport ect is major in everything you do. It's putting you in position to take advantage of your strengths While taking advantage of another persons weakness.
Think this way. Technique Gives you the tools needed to be a good fighter.
Strategy/Being aware of situations lets you get in position to use your technique.
Toughest guy wins if and only if things are about even with the other 2 factors.
Look at Craig Adams, tough as hell. Would put his face through a wall to win another cup. As tough as he is, he's not winning a fight anytime soon.
