Barzal and Point have more series wins. So using your logic:
Point > Barzal > Matthews > Eichel
But let me guess, you’re gonna change the criteria so it turns out to be:
Leafs player > everyone else
What a ridiculous post.
Perhaps it's time to grow up?
If the Olympics were to start today, then almost assuredly Matthews gets the 1C job and more PP minutes than Eichel.
What about the fact that when Matthews and Eichel played together for Team North America during the 2016 World Cup it was Matthews that got elevated onto McDavid's line, even though Eichel already had 1 year of NHL experience and Matthews had not yet made his NHL debut.PP time would be the same IMO, as they'd most likely play together on the top unit.
5 on 5 Matthews would certainly be the #1C, due to his better all around game and being much stronger on the draws. This leaving Eichel to go up and potentially expose weaker match ups.
mcjesus isn't great at d so maybe[QDP]
In 2017 Rasmus Dahlin was called "The McDavid/Eichel for defencemen" agree or disagree?
Countless posters here were calling him the McDavid of D
So the team that finished with more points than the leafs last year is a garbage team?
So Drai is nothing? And you’re really going to say “points aside” but have no comment on the “Edmonton is garbage” part. If you want to pick Toronto over them that’s fine, but let’s address the actual issues here.Points aside, if you think the Oilers are better than the leafs, you are blind.
The only thing that Edmonton has that is better is the best player in the world
At least Matthews vs Eichel is debatable...
What is the difference exactly? Most rational Leafs fans think McDavid is better than Matthews, myself included.
However there is a difference between a few Leafs fans who are wrong about that, compared to Dahlin being called the Connor McDavid of Defenseman before getting drafted.
Nothing done 5 years ago is relevant to who is better today. What about the fact that when Matthews and Eichel played together for Team North America during the 2016 World Cup it was Matthews that got elevated onto McDavid's line, even though Eichel already had 1 year of NHL experience and Matthews had not yet made his NHL debut.
Edmonton was absolutely the better team last seasonPoints aside, if you think the Oilers are better than the leafs, you are blind.

Par for the course around here.As usual, these threads never age well.
