Toffoli was the worst forward in the finals relative to expectations. He was Mark Stone ugly out there.

He is done. He is too slow to do much now. You can be old, and still play, but you can't be old and slow.

His CGA points are still in the top half of the league if I remember correctly.

He's been done he got lucky and picked up some points early on in the playoffs last time even though he's incredibly slow. He can't exactly do anything well anymore but win a faceoff maybe.

I'm not saying he didnt produce. What I'm getting at is Minnesota is where players go to burn out/fade away.
If you mean his second (ill-advised) signing with Minnesota, I agree. Otherwise he had a renaissance on that first deal. Strange player to make this argument about.

I still wish Pittsburgh would’ve signed him to a 1 year deal if he would’ve taken it just to play center while we have both Sid and Geno out. At best he finds a way to stay on a 13 man forward group when they come back. At worst they waive him.
