OT: Is Canada hosting the World Cup more bitter or sweet to British Columbians?

Is it a big deal to you that Vancouver isnt hosting any WC games in 2026?

Yea why not make a controversial decision close to an election geee homey Are you a political science professor?

Because ideally government is supposed to do what is best for the people and not solely focus on their own electability.

Sadly Trinity Western ... not fond of the overly Christian fanaticism there. They love bombed her into a bunch of misery, which thankfully she dropped in the garbage can a couple of years later.

OK... Random question. Do you have an Australian accent? lol

Lets wait till the other cities start getting these huge bills with no revenue and realize how much money they lost for hosting 3 games. It is basically US of f***ing A as the host country with a few through away games in Canada and Mexico.

I'm not a big soccer fan but i watch the worldcup because its the best showcase. Sure its a slap in the face but really Vancouver would get a lame match like Panama vs Korea. Still it was a political decision, where the first time ever the Ndp was worried about spending tax dollars. (oops, oh ya this is a sports forum)
