Type of Player: I try to skate hard every shift. I rarely give up on a play and dig hard in the corners when I have to. I'll head straight to the net to try to screen the goalie when you're about to shoot and I'm there for the rebound after you take the shot. I cover for the D when they want to rush. I back-check...sometimes. I'm there on the sideboards to help the breakout or else I'm getting open, looking for the breakout pass. I'm not great at getting past solid, stay at home Defensemen, but I chip the puck up the boards and try to use my speed on the outside to get around them. I've deked out a few goalies, but my goal-scorer's touch is strongest in my wrist shot. I love tucking the rubber under the cross-bar with a quick flick of the wrist. I also love connecting those one-timers and watching it sail top shelf. I have a decent backhand and have put a few away with that tool, but I think it could use some work. I'm a decent skater with a strong stride. My biggest weakness is backward cross-overs to right, but I'm 100% confident doing backward cross overs to the left.
