Late Thursday night the NHL requested a meeting with NHLPA representatives in New York. Today the NHLPA accepted the invitation and a meeting has been scheduled for Saturday.

am i losing track of days ? the NHL invited the PA on thursday night ? this means this isnt really a new development (new for Friday?)

Late Thursady night, late being the word.
I saw that too, i found it more interesting that the NHL site had nothing, making it seem to me like a little butt kissin...the PA giving credit to the league for reaching out..who knows...nights turn into days, days into weeks.......
