Sekera skating a bit per Chia yesterday - let's say Feb return. Not sure what we can realistically expect when he returns or for the rest of his contract.

Yup, so pretty much what people were expecting. Back around Feb. Probably will suck ass when he returns though, lol.

"Probably"?

Yeah, Sekera is going to he a shell of his former self. Two serious leg injuries in a row at his age? He already looked terrible after last years knee injury. He'll be, at best, a bottom pairing guy for the rest of his career (which is likely to be very short now).

HItch says that Klef will go back to Edmonton for further evaluation.

Said he's pretty sure he'll be out "weeks, not days"

So with Klefbom out with an assumed broken hand. How long does that usually take to heal? Google says anything from 3 weeks to 8 weeks, depending on the bone that is broken.

Other than McDavid, Klefbom is the player that we can't afford getting hurt the most. Our defense is already pretty pathetic with him playing. Our top 3 is going to be Larsson, Nurse, and Russell? God help us all.

Really sucks, as we fight our way back into the playoff conversation, and then this happens. We were a long shot to make the playoffs before, and now it's going to take a minor miracle.
