Zack Kassian -- max upside seems to be scoring line RW (2nd, not first) who provides toughness (PIM's if that's important for your league). Given the Sabres already have three scoring line RW's on the books for next year, at least at this point, there isn't an opening. Also given his issues with Jones, he's probably going to have to spend at least a year if not more in Portland working on becoming a professional.

Backlund is good defensively and is coming around offensively. Nemisz likely will be a 3rd line player with David Moss type upside.

I would rank them in terms of ceilings as such.

    Nino Neideretier - 70-80 Points
    Ryan Ellis - 40-50 Points
    Mikael Backlund - 50-60 Points
    Zack Kassian - 50-60 Points
    Jake Gardiner - 30-40 Points
    Greg Nemisz - 40-50 Points
    Marco Scandella - 20-30 Points
    Patrice Cormier - 30-35 Points
Alex Guptill - No at all familiar with this player
Kenny Ryan - I think he is the least likely to have an impact in the NHL out of this group.

This list is pretty good, I mostly agree. Just not sure about your projected point totals for Nino and Nemisz.

Good luck now that Goc is an Islander.

Well yeah... I'll give him Pierre-Luc Longest-Name-Ever instead.

I think Ellis has a higher ceiling than this. I'd say 60-70. Will he get there? Possibly not. Just my opinion.

As an Isles fan I see Nino being between a 65-70 point player, maybe a little bit more if he is playing with Tavares. Very good all around player, able to play in any situation. Another good thing about Nino is that even if he does not become a top line winger he has all the right tools to be a good 3rd line grinder. He reminds me a bit of Marian Hossa or Bobby Ryan, with slightly less upside.

Yeah, I may have projected Nino a bit high after thinking about it.

65-70 points is a better projection I suppose, As Wang ^^^ had suggested.
