Yeah, don't know what good will a year more in the juniors do for him. He's basically maxed out there.
I see him as a comparable for the Blues' Robert Thomas, who also like Tomasino tore up the OHL in his draft +1 year and then joined the Blues.
Raise a banner already...
New Jack Quinn reel purest goal scorer in the draft IMO
Enjoy guys
Kid looks great but doubt he's there anymore when we pick.
Forsberg - Duchene - GranlundElliotte Freedman hinted on the TIM and Sid show that there maybe 28 player rosters. That might make training camp a knife fight.
Forsberg - Duchene - Granlund
Jarnkrok/Turris - Johansen - Arvidsson
Grimaldi - Bonino - Smith
Jarnkrok/Turris - Sissons - Watson
Tolvanen - Blackwell - Trenin

Tinordi - Holzer
Hamhuis - Weber

... that's 26... 2 spots up for grabs? Pitlick and Carrier? Carr or Harpur? Gaudreau or Santini? If they have a 3 week camp, that's a relatively long time to battle for spots.
Unlimited goalies makes sense. All it takes is 1 injury and you're knocking on the zamboni driver's door... Ingram and Grosenick can both be kept ready. It's unclear but there are rumblings of unlimited goalies and the 28 will be skaters.

Probably 18 F and 10 D.Exactly, so 28 skaters how do you split the skaters up? 12 d, 16 f
Probably 18 F and 10 D.
You can only have 6 Dmen playing so that gives you 4 extra, where as you have double the number of forward spots to cover.
What do you think the odds are that Tomasino would get one of the 28 skater spots? Odds of needing all 28 are low and could serve as a great experience for a top prospect to be training/practicing with an NHL team during a playoff run
I think that's unlikely. He seems to be developing super well so far, but the Preds have never been a team to put prospects into the NHL quickly.
