Shestyorkin, but both are good. Shestyorkin's shown more improvement in recent seasons, in my opinion. I think he's turned himself into the more well-rounded of the two goalies. I think a couple of seasons ago Sorokin was the more well-rounded of the two goalies.

They've gotten to a point where the only way to pick a clear better player at this point is actual NHL performance. ETA: Soon.

Shestyorkin is now signed. Sorokin should be signed a year later.

Shestyorkin has outplayed Sorokin over the years, but Sorokin is pretty good, and its not a huge gap.

Has Shestyorkin ever been considered the #1 for SKA? Their career numbers are almost identical.... but Sorokin has been the #1 for CSKA for the past 3 years. He's been to the finals 3X, won a Gagarin cup and an MVP. I believe he aso holds the KHL record for GAA and SV% in a season.

It’s a 1A/1B thing he’s had going on for a few years first with Koskinen and now Hellberg
Shestyorkin and Sorokin are pretty much equal prospects and have been back and forth between who’s better. Wouldn’t surprise me if either ended up better. Shestyorkin’s been a bit off recently and Sorokin has been hot

No doubt Sorokin was better in these playoffs. That's also the first time he has been better since 2015/16 so maybe it's not the time to draw too far going conclusions just yet.
