I'm assuming he had a lot of endorsements and things when he played there on top of probably being one of the highest paid players in the KHL. Also he played for Putin's team and won Russia an olympic gold medal. Probably has more money than he knows what to do with

Who knows so many ways to make more money outside your salary. But I would assume government, mafia, endorsements, investment's and more would lead to the rumour of him being rich as....

As much as he is fun to watch and wouldn't mind keeping him, I hope for his sake he is traded to a contender.

Maybe he likes it in Montreal. Maybe he likes the athmospher and all the attention he is getting. Maybe MB can talk to him and have a gentleman's agreement with him. Trade him to a contender and then re sign him in the summer. Win Win.

I'll play just for fun, but since when has Timmins demonstrated the ability to find these players in the late first/early 2nd round?
