Figured he'd rule out New Jersey, Because when he had discussed coming to North America he had already stated that he wasn't coming back to the Devils. And Winnipeg has a lot of signings doubt they can afford him.

The Blues GM Doug Armstrong conformed that he is interested in him. For the right price I take him, I think he could easily be a top six for this team if he does anything like he did do in the KHL. Him along with one other big time move, can make the top six strong.

I'd take him. Still think he would be a very very effective player.

As someone mentioned I do think his wife could play a role on his decision. I know they frequent SoFlo a lot or actually have property there. With Dadonov and Barkov perhaps can persuade him.

But it's a long shot from hockey standpoint. He'll probably want to go to a more high profile team. Boston's been talked about. We'll see where he ends up.

Do you guys figure it would be a done deal by July 1st or it's going to drag on?
