Canada didn't even roll out their A-team.

I imagine a lot of NHLers didn't compete because they're already going to be participating in the World Cup. A bunch of them probably don't feel like playing in two tournaments in one summer, and wanted to get some rest, since this was pretty close to the end of the season.

That, or they're still participating in the playoffs.

Or, they just didn't accept for...who knows what.

Some people prefer potential over a player who is on a great contract and is ageing like wine. Brassard won't bring back anything close to what he brings back in a trade.

yeah, a good point. A good quality and expensive wines are usually old bottles of wine.

I feel its okey and in consider Canada didnt had a playoffs team this year, no doubts they have many players with high quality on their national team.
