I tried drinking protein powder "shakes" last week for the first time, and holy crap. I have gained so much muscle without even going to the gym or attempting any exercise at all. Is this normal??! FWIW I have only been drinking one or two glasses per day at the recommended 20g/tablespoon per glass. It almost feels scary to think of what the results might be once I actually start exercising (??)
This is a vegan powder, for whatever that is also worth.
