If the Raptors win it all again this year, where would you put Nurse on the all-time coaching list?

They were famously the first team to win the title without a lottery pick. They wouldn't do that again this year considering they're using Stanley Johnson sparingly off the bench, but the construction of their roster looks like this:

Johnson - 1st Round, 8th overall
Anunoby - 1st Round, 23rd overall
Hollis-Jefferson - 1st Round, 23rd overall
Ibaka - 1st Round, 24th overall
Lowry - 1st Round, 24th overall
Siakim - 1st Round, 27th overall
McCaw - 2nd Round, 38th overall
Powell - 2nd Round, 46th overall
Gasol - 2nd Round, 48th overall
Hernandez - 2nd Round, 59th overall
Boucher - Undrafted
Brissett - Undrafted
Davis - Undrafted
Miller - Undrafted
Thomas - Undrafted
VanVleet - Undrafted
Watson - Undrafted

Considering Kawhi moving on from the team, how high up the all-time coaching list would you elevate Nurse if they win it all again this year?

Not sure where'd I put him but winning 2 titles + COY in a coaches first two seasons might just be a first.

How many coaches have even won a title + been named COY their first 2 seasons?

This whole "won the title without lottery picks" nonsense needs to die already. They traded a former lottery pick to acquire Khwai, they quired Gasol by trading another lottery pick, they acquired Lowry for the 12th overall pick ...

The idea is that nobody on the team was drafted with a lottery pick. That's a pretty impressive feat when you think about it.

It also helps create a false narrative that you don't need high picks to win. You don't get those high-end pieces without having high picks like DeRozan, Valenciounas or that 12th pick to trade for them.
