Just a fun little game to pass the time, and attempt to ease the lockout pains

I know this thread has come up on the main boards multiple times, but I would like to see from Sens fans perspectives.

If we had to join with another team (roster and prospects) , which do you think would be best for both short and long term

    I would say St. Louis

Crosby/Malkin/Karlsson are the most entertaining players in the league by far. It wouldn't matter if the team never won the Cup, it'd be hellva exciting.

That's a hell of a lot of star talent up front, a solid blueline, a really deep prospect pool, and a bright, bright future. Wouldn't be too hard to shore up the blueline by packaging players

    San Jose Sharks.

Joe Thornton would be great to have likewise with Brent Burns.

    Rangers, Boston, Vancouver,Chicago right now

All 4 teams have great defensemans, goaltenders (except Chicago) and their forward can complement those on our team.

In 3-4 years, I would take any of Pitts, St-Louis, Edmonton

I imagine it would have to be a team that was to fold to merge with us.
    Phoenix Coyotes

    Silferberg/Spezza/Doan
    Michalek/Turris/Vrbata
    Greening/Vermette/Regin
    Torres/Smith/Neil

    Yandle/Karlsson
    Cowen/OEL
    Methot/Michalek
    Phillips

    Anderson
    Smith

The AHL team would be stacked too.

I'd say toronto too. This way all of Ontario would finally have a winning team instead of a whining team!

Edmonton/Florida, there prospect depth is pretty good so we'd be a strong team for years to come.

Toronto wouldn't be a bad pick.

    JVR - Spezza - Kessel
    Michalek - Grabovski - Alfredsson
    Lupul - Turris - Kulemin
    Greening - Smith - Neil

    Gunnarsson - Karlsson
    Cowen - Phaneuf
    Gardiner - Phillips

    Anderson
    Reimer

Plus an awesome prospect pool. Rielly, Zibanejad, Silfverberg, Lehner, etc, etc.
