Hey all, I'm looking for an identification of a player. Today my mom told me of a story she had heard on WAMC radio about who she thought was a player who played for the Bruins in the 1990s, and possibly the 1994 USA Olympic team (which I think she is mistaken about) who was on methamphetamine and somehow got lost in some sort of mountain range and ended up having to have both legs amputated. I think some of these details she could be mistaken on (it might not have been the Bruins but she thought it was) and I was interested on reading about this. Apparently this player wrote a book, and she thought his name was Eric, but that information is also very possibly incorrect. Any information would be greatly appreciated, I couldn't find anything so I am wondering if anyone knows the story. Thanks guys.
