I have a couple questions about icings
1. On hybrid icing if the puck bounce of the board and comeback and the offensive touch it before anyone cross the face-off dots is the icing waved off?
2. If your called for icing can you change your goalies or you have to wait for the next whistle?

1. Yes, because if there was no hybrid icing, that player would have still gotten the puck first, negating the icing.

For clarification, the determining factor is which player would first touch the puck, not which player would first reach the end zone face- off dots.

This would also mean that if the defensive player touched the puck first, even before crossing the face-off dot, it's an icing.

2. No. You could, however, make a change to bring a goalie in. That would be done if the goalie was pulled when the team iced the puck.

Interesting tidbit about the goalie change there...do the officials have to keep track of who the extra skater is, and only let him get taken off? Or would any skater be able to sit? If the former, and there was a full line change with the goalie pulled, it would be interesting to know how they'd determine who is the "extra" then.

IIRC, they can take off anyone they want.
