Just thought that this type of general thread for IT distribution would be a good one. At least informative.

Shows just how awful your team is when the 5th 6th and 7th TOI is:

Glendening
Abby
Nielsen

Top line and AA have to carry us.

It's pretty typical for a rebuilding team, I watched the Caps rebuild and they went into the playoffs with less....

(Yes, I realize they had Ovechkin, but damn if Mantha didn't score on an Ovechkin like 1 on 4 last night.)

The key here is that they absolutely can't afford any injuries to the top 4. AA being out already reduced this down to a one line team.

Yeah, it's no surprise that the success comes, when the depth comes. More talent on 2-3-4 lines (guys we already have in prospect system, just not NHL-ready) and then at least one Elite player.

Interesting is that on ome line data Bertuzzi+Larkin work well together without Mantha. And Mantha has worked will without them in another line. that would be the future key to success, to split them.

At first, at this point of the rebuild, it's nice to have that a single great top line, but the success comes when we have multiple great lines with talent split on them.

You realize that I posted TOI stats right? I expect the top line and AA to average around 20 min per game. Larkin finished 9th last year.
You said you're expecting them to finish in the top 20 based on a single game... like I said it's one game ,chill.

… and you expect them to get less ice time in the remaining games with this roster? I already pointed out Larkin was 9th last season.

AA missed the first game, but his ice time will come at he expense of the third and fourth lines.

Looks like Abdelkader Ice-Time dropped drastically after the 1st game. Erne and Helm got a raise.
