Wow I just called that Dorion might be hoping to land a 3rd and a prospect a short while ago but I thought it would be for 2018.

The 3rd round pick is not in 2018, nor in 2019, it's in 2020. Moutrey is a bust and is included to even out the contracts.

How does Cole, a proven D with two cups, return less than Davidson, Kempny and Holden?

Another pathetic return.

I just edited my post... damn that sucks. Would have preferred picks in this years draft or next.

Odd that he couldn't get a 3rd this year for him, but had it been offered I'm sure he would have accepted.

Well, expected a 2nd this year or next plus a decent prospect who could play in the AHL

Why pull the trigger so fast? Another team would have stepped up and give maybe more...

Is there a limit how far in the future picks can be traded? Like maybe we could have got a 2nd is 2027

What year does it f***ing matter anyways? Better to stagger them. You know... Not put all your eggs in one basket. A 3rd is a 3rd. Plus, if we have new ownership by then, we'll have a much bigger scouting team.

If that's the best offer he had on the table I don't understand why he pulled the trigger so early

Looks like they are aligning the rebuild with the new arena rebuild. Can't wait to see the team in #2025.
