I want a light/effective stick....because...

I'm a forward but playing on the point, on pp for my team and when I use my heavy wood sticks, my shots are more heavy because it takes me more time to shot but they often get blocked.

I'm doing fine with my vectorV110c, I like graphite/fiber glass sticks....and my friend who's on my team still thinks the wood ones are better for me....

Any tips, any suggestions for a stick (which curve is the better for a graphite stick?)?

i no im old fashion and like to use a wood stick for a couple reasons 1. price-$20 as compared to $150 2. wieght-i like to feel like im playing with something in my hands as compared to a feather 3. my shot- i have a very vrypowerful shot and tryed a composite stick and lost a lot of my shot(as far as getting ur shot blocked because u have a heavier stick u dont need to have as big a pull back but just half way and put ur lower body and hips into it)
