Proposal: I love Chara, but

It's time he steps down as captain. Not because he is doing a bad job or not a significant leader for the team, but because Bergy needs to have a shot while he is still producing at a high level .

This is something Chara should initiate with the organization and team. I'm sure it would be well received all around and Chara could take on the A .

Chara is an amazing story, athlete, person, and this would be a graceful way to relinquish his captaincy... for the right reason.

He missed no games due to that injury. He will be the captain till the day he retires and be a first ballot HOF.
