I dont get whats going on. Who is this Harry Goodnow? I know someone wants a cap, meaning every team would get the same salary and players get less.

I dont get whats going on. Who is this Harry Goodnow? I know someone wants a cap, meaning every team would get the same salary and players get less.

Every player wants a hockey cap with their team logo on the front of it (you know, like a baseball cap or hat). Bob Bettman has said "no way, Jose" because it would cost about $15 for every player and the NHL simply can't afford that. Now, the NHL does have a closet full of NHL caps, but they put a lock on it, locking the players out of the cap closet. Thats why it's called a lockout. I hope this helps.
