I could handle a bad season

The NHL experience would be good for Elliott, Barrie, and Gaunce, as long as it didn't get so bad that it negatively affected their confidence/spirit/growth.

Right now it might be Duchene, Varly and EJ confidence that might be negatively affected.

Gaunce hasn't looked all that good in AHL. He's running around a lot in the defensive zone and isn't particularly mobile. I'd be very surprised to see him in NHL this year unless we have tonnes of injuries.

I would still give Gaunce a try. Let`s give him 10 games and see how he does. Same for Barrie.
I would like to see Elliot play all season, I know he is super soft, but at least he can pass the puck and his wrist shot would really help on the power play.

Am I the only one who would like to see Pock get the call-up?

He's more polished defensively than Barrie and Elliott and he's still a pretty good puck-mover.

Couldn't hurt, right?

I'm always pleased when I see that I didn't contribute to an eventual grave-dug thread.

(well, not if this gets resurrected again in 7 years....good job, Hennessy)

Tis the internet, you make some amazing posts/calls and you make some dreadful ones. I miss the song I wrote for Sacco a year or two before this thread.

How did a 2013 post survive anyways? The great purge got rid of everything.
