Again you make numbers talk the way you like to.

1-1.5B$ divide by 750 players

1B$ divide by 30 players is a lot worse

The owners collected $2.1B last year. Then they preceeded to pay out anywhere from $2.2-2.5B. It doesn't matter how much you collect if you are paying out more than you bring in? How hard is that to understand?

I'm sure there are some franchises that lose more money because of the lockout, but if the Leavitt report is anywhere close to accurate, that's probably a real minority. And by the way, it's these teams that whose operating results will improve the most under a new CBA.

It would stand to reason that the most successful teams are the ones who are losing most in the lockout as they have gone a year without making money.

However, because of their past earnings, these teams can also afford to carry on with the lockout alongside the teams who are actually losing less money now than in a full season.

I dont think the NHLPA have figured this out yet. :joker:
