Hopefully Simmonds gets to have a word with Edler by the end of the month.

That would be greasy, I hope they'd start them at the same time to be fair; even if that means overlapping the regular season & playoffs (once/if Calgary & Vancouver are officially eliminated).

There needs to be someone going after him FOR SURE! dirty prick! Maybe Sabourin will punch his face off! I think he is our tough guy over Simmonds, he sure did well against Lucic! Besides, I am pretty sure Simmonds is not confident enough with his wrist! 'broke one 2 times and the other once, I know the feeling!'

As long as he’s ready for playoffs we’re good.

In a way, this should offer us the chance to evaluate how Robertson & Foligno fit in the lineup with less people in the way

I assume he was wearing a knee brace, as that’s the one he hurt before.

Yes, and Ferraro made a good point on Overdrive yesterday as well - it's actually better that it was the same knee because it was recently repaired and can withstand the traumatic impact better.

Cam Janssen....this Cam Janssen? Could care less about his opinion.

It’s not about what you think of him he’s relaying the code of honour that should happen. Muzzin was on the ice. Did nothing. Just a cheeky puck flipper i guess now he’s stooped to

When I was a kid growing up in Jersey, Cam was doing an autograph signing at the local rink right before one of my games a few weeks after this happened. I wouldn't stop cursing at him and ruining the signing for everyone so I had to be escorted directly to the locker room and from there onto the ice. There's no real point to this story besides screw Cam Janssen.

1) He's suspended, so it won't happen tonight.
2) Who on this team would even be capable of doing it?

1)We play them a few more times in the next couple of weeks, we'll see what happens.

2) Good question- Foligno maybe, possibly Simmonds. If we're still battling for 1st place I suspect Edler will get a few chirps and nothing else- probably the smart thing to do, but I'd rather Foligno slap him around a bit.

It won't happen, sadly.

We dont have that sort of roster.

How old was Gilmore when he did that again? Matthews is fast becoming a superstar who can carry a team on his back

Giving up on kids this talented this age is just silly
Look I truly hope he does .. he has the ability .. now he has to show it .. fyi he is same age as one of my kids who plays in minors for another org now .. so I have seen him play in elite spring tournaments since he was 9 in edmonton at brick where he played as an underager same as my kid .. he has not won anything yet except scoring trophies .. and he has played on teams with multiple NHL players on them and he never won even 1 tournament .. whereas JT has won everything under da sun .. if this team wins it is likely JT carrying da freight with Mitch helping .. Mitch and Willy same story except Mitch with Knights Mem Cup on a stacked team

I think its ridiculous that first up has this guy as regular guest. There are 100s of ex players out there and they choose a guy who is best known in this market for an extremely dirty hit on one of the team's more popular players at the time.

Suspensions should match the time the injury keeps a player out.

Trouble with that is you could have a player who has had repeated concussions over his career and a Mitch Marner could sneeze on him and he'd be concussed again. Jujhar Khaira could go down for a year with just having Mitch skate by him too fast. Want Mitch out a year too?
