Yet despite all this, their record in their last five games is 2-2-1.

Panthers don't play after thisil Thursday. If Judge didn't start, the earliest he could next start would be over a week after his last start.

You make a valid point in regard to the recent offensive woes. On the other hand. Over those last 5 games we haven’t given up more than 3 goals in regulation. The defense has kept in those games. Goal tending has been good overall. The top 4 defensemen have been pretty good. The fifth guy hasn’t hurt us. The 6th defensemen -Yandle - plays the fewest 5 on 5 minutes. So his downside is being kept to a minimum. You’re gonna have ebbs and flows with both units all season along with the PP and PK units. I don’t feel the wheels are coming off. I’m normally a half glass empty kind of guy. But for the first time in a long time I’m looking forward to the games knowing we can compete with everybody and are in a good playoff situation. Maybe I’m being Pollyannish but past results are not indicative of future returns. It’s 2021! Believe!
