If anyone needs me, apparently I'll be in the yard hacking into pieces the dead sheep that the wife got for the doggies.

At least it's not a half a pony, like last time.

Ok, I'm going to need pictures of this one....

Expected as much. Darkness and rain sneaking upon me didn't allow for an "after" pic.

I really don't make this crap up.

I had to kill one of my wife's chickens a while back and I felt horrible about it for like 3 days. I can't imagine having to do that....got no stomach for it. Mind you I used to hunt and fish regularly. It was like, I had some kids and got old and now I'm totally soft.

This puts me in mind of Red Dead Redemption. Lempo, in a cowboy hat, grabs a sheep by the back of the neck and yanks its skin off in one motion.

It's just dead flesh when it's dead, and it came to me as it is in the pic.

We got some meat rabbits. Skinning and gutting them is no biggie, but I rather let wife do the actual killing and take the karma hit for it. Ending the life is some serious crap.

But, I eat meat, so gotta take some ownership too on what's it about.

Actually in Bundeswerh winter cap, and, not... exactly quite as smoothly as the RDR guy. At all.

It's probably his manly knife that gives him the upper hand.

Lost a cat over night. Didn't know him for very long, and it wasn't entirely unexpected, but I was hoping to have a bit more time with him. Lived 18 years, beat cancer, and survived two years of chemo. Sweetest cat ever since I met him a few weeks ago. He was much more playful than the significantly younger cats he lived with, and seemed to be full of life until a couple days ago.

Not a fun thing to wake up to but after yesterday I was kind of expecting it

Sorry man. Losing a pet is hard no matter how long you spend with them.

Nah, killing hens can be depressing. They're fantastic and more than worth what you pay for.

Killing roosters, on the other hand...is...I'll just be polite and say it's not depressing in the slightest.

I appreciate it. Something you expect to go through but are never really ready for.

I'm renting a house in Mebane, and the homeowner used to run an animal shelter. She has to live out of state for a few years and could not take all of her animals with her. In exchange for a very good deal on rent we're looking after the 4 remaining cats and 3 dogs.

I love the clickbait photos down below this site. "This North Carolina School may be the worst" and there's a picture of a UCLA cheerleader. Just lol

Been there.

One of our cats, Russian Blue male was fighting leukemia/lymphoma for 2 years. Longer than any other cat vets at centre treated.

He was always a warrior.

The USMNT just lost to Canada. The last time Canada beat the US was 1985, Canada has a grand total of 1 World Cup appearance. This comes almost 2 years to the day that the squad failed to qualify for the World Cup.

I'm not really a soccer fan but I know many of you are, shouldn't the USMNT be better than this? Perhaps the US should let some other country host the 2026 Cup.
