I'm all ready for this season out at Southwood...

With all the talk about golf across this board...

Time to put us in our place... if you are not making your living as a golf pro...

Then you're just Goofy... :thumbu:

Ooooo the wind would be nasty out at Southwood , good luck with that .

I've got to get one of these for my brother-in-law , his most used 5 words is "can you pick me up" ? :help:
My son was like that... every call was, “can come get me” or “ can you drive me to”, finally got fed up and bought him his own bus pass

Got some practice in... wasn't windy really for a couple days last week...

Then cold north wind... that was the end of practice...

I never practice golf.
Not because I’m any good only because I don’t practice well.
I just play, and usually are within the same range of strokes 95-105 and I am ok with that.
My lowest score ever is 88 and my highest lol

If you can break 100 you are doing good.

I just started playing again.

In the 90's and early 2000's I was able to get my handicap down to 7. Then diabetes hit me hard. Battled to get my health back.

Now I'm in good shape, controlling the diabetes well. Need regular exercise and fresh air.... thus Southwood.

I don't think I will ever get a handicap back under 10, but I enjoy the peace of practice and good friendship on the course.

Beats being dead... or nearly dead. I guess I'm a Cinderella Story...

Good on you for getting back.
We all like to be proficient but the main goal is to be healthy and have fun.
Sounds like you know that already.
Cheers John Agar all the best.
