Yzerman is notorious for bridge deals. It'll probably be a 2 or 3 year deal, maybe even slightly over-paid to still keep him restricted. My general guess is 3 years at around 5 million.

I would do 4 years at 18 million total. Less than 5/year, because while he brings good offense, he's still young and pretty 1 dimensional
