How will the lines look after the all-star break barring a trade

I'm starting to think that Kassian plays with Hopkins and Eberle to try to give their line a jolt.
Pouliot was looking good with Yakupov and McDavid earlier in the year and he's looked pretty stale on many nights with Nuge and Ebs.
I don't want Purcell back next year, but it's logical for him to stay with Hall and Drai.

Hall's line and Nuge's line will get the most minutes but Hall's line will get more offensive zone starts.

Hall, Drai, Purcell 1a
Pouliot, RNH, Eberle 1b
Kassian, McDavid, Yak 1c
Hendricks, Letestu, Korp

I think we will see Kassian riding shotgun for McDavid, and McDavid turning him into the Lucic we've been dreaming of. Yak will play 5 inches taller, and will turn up the pest level. Yak will waive the red cape, Kassian will be a lurking shadow above him, and McD will work magic with the extra room.

1a will see the top pairing Dmen
1b will draw the tough assignment of matching uop again the other teams top line
1c will get the left overs
4 will get more than the 4th line now, and will create energy.

You can win a cup this forward group.

I wont talk about the defense in order to leave this post with a positive attitude.

Love it. Especially the last sentence.

It will be intresting to see what TM does with the lines.

I think we see a really stacked top 6

Hall RNH Drai
Pouliot McDavid Eberle

If the bolded can work out we will be laughing (until we see the right side of our defense.)

I think McLellan will run with this cause he loves his top heavy top 6.

Hall RNH Leon
Poo Mcdavid Ebs
Purcell Lander Yak
Hendricks Lets Korpi

This looks about right to me.

Yak won't get premium time on the top lines, Leon will likely shift to the wing, and Purcell will drop down to the third line like you have. It's not a bad lineup, but with the current blueline it doesn't really matter what they try up front I don't think.

What I expect

Hall - Drai - Purcell
Pouliot - RNH - Eberle
Yak - Mcdavid - Kassian
Hendricks - Letestu - Paka

However, I would like to see Nuge reunited with Leon and Hall or have Nuge play with Mcdavid to mix things up a bit and get him going. Also, have Eberle and Hall back playing together with Drai.

Hall - Drai - Eberle
RNH - Mcdavid - Yak

Give that a shot as our top 6 and see how it goes.
