Not sure the question is entirely clear but if you are just pushing the puck forward and it is rolling off the tip then you need to change the angle of the blade to more cup the puck.
As poster above said, by cupping the puck with the blade. Figure 8 is a good puck control drill that really focuses on cupping. And even simple wide dribbles all the way across your body will force you to cup it on your forehand and backhand.
