How often does assists leader also lead in Even Strength, Powerplay, and/or Shorthanded assists?

The table shows the 8 different combinations for what the assists leader could be based on manpower situations when they recorded their assists.

-1982-1983 Wayne Gretzky is the only player to lead in all of ES/PP/SH assists.

-1970-1971 Bobby Orr is the only player to lead in PP and SH but not ES assists.

-An assists leader has never led in only SH assists.

*assists by manpower type have been recorded since 1933-1934*
