55% faceoffs and 14th amongst forwards in SHTOI/G. Too much money, but no more outrageous than a bunch of other contracts (and no, I'm not the one who signed him).

And my 825,000 offer. How many times in the future will I reply to someone asking if I'm interested in a player with. "Not interested in _____, he's got a bad contract" ?

Signed by the Kings:

Adam Hall
6'3" 205 lbs.
Very good on faceoffs
Very good defensively
Very good strength, experience and leadership
Played all 82 games
Still in his 20's. Will only be 32 on the last year of the 3-year deal
Signed for a below average NHL salary
His overall rating will go up this year
+ Team that signed him has a weekness for experienced center depth
+ One of the only true checking line centers available in UFA
+ Team has 19 million in cap space
+ I have saved up 50+ million in the bank
+ Only UFA signed so far
+ 2 million dollars isn't going to break the bank
+ Don't compare to NHL salaries...Johnny Oduya is about to make ~4.5 million in the HFNHL.

You can make arguments against it, but there is logic behind it.

Maybe, but you sure Adam Hall is a C ?

His team site says RW:
http://lightning.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8467925

So does Yahoo:
http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/2595

I havent checked TSN, but I never thought of Hall as a C, more like an energy line winger. Can he play there in the HF?
