How many US dollars would you pay to have Crosby, Weber, or Lundqvist on your team?

I don't know, are we adjusting for inflation? Using present or future dollars? Are they in their prime? Is this still a cap era? Is the team a contender before hand? Am I a really wealthy owner?

I cannot pull this figure out of my bottom after 15 seconds of looking at an HFBoards thread.

On New Jersey:

Crosby would get max contract, 10.5 million or whatever.
Weber isn't really at the top of our list; our defence is doing fine and it will be awesome in a few years. But at the same time, it wouldn't hurt to have one of the premier defensemen in the league. I'd pay 8-9 million and trade away one of the young ones for picks and kick Salvador to the curb.
Not really interested in Lundqvist at all; we have Schneider and the King isn't too much of a step up. Schneider gets paid 7 million, so if I traded Schneider away I'd probably only pay Lundy 7.5 million.

I'm happy enough with Andy in our goal.

As for the other 2, as a fan, and out of my own pocket? That's rough, I'm a broke student.

That being said, right now, I'd contribute over $1000. **** tuition.

If I'm a wealthy owner, over $12m a year easily. Lord knows the Sens have the cap space to do it.

Crosby would certainly solve the whole 2C dilemma on the Blackhawks.

Of my own personal money?

Hmmmm..... I'll over bid and say $50,000

What a dumb question, the most die hard fan might only be able to afford $100 while the casual fan could afford 10 grand or more.
