Kouleas is one of the best. growing up watching spin on the score was awesome. At least he's not blind like most Toronto media
Just waiting for some trash piece by Lebrun how McDavid doesn't deserve it because he has Draisaitl on his team, something something Matthews is the greatest because on pace for 50 goals, wrist injury, fashion sense, etc etc
LeBrun lost me the day he said the Flames should get that 3rd round pick because of the “spirit” of the deal.At least he's not blind like most Toronto media

He's on NHL radio on Xm. He's decent.Steve Kouleas is still alive? Damn, that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. Felt bad for him all those years ago on The Score when he was paired with that blond anchor (Lisa Walters?). She couldn’t keep up with his quick wit and because of it he came off as a jerk. Always loved his energy though. Came from an era where you needed to be a good speaker to be on tv. Miss those days.

Matthews shouldn't even be top 5 in Hart voting but he'll probably end up being a finalist because of the leafs media. This is how the scoring race projects, right now, to the end of the current, short season:
97 -- McDavid
84 -- Draisaitl
79 -- Kane
74 -- Scheifle
73 -- Marner
72 -- Matthews (missed 3 games)
Conclusion by Toronto media: MATTHEWS FOR EVERYTHING!
It is pretty wild the disrespect especially leon gets in the hockey media....I'd take Leon over matthews. They were pushing Matthews and the leafs hard as juggernauts..after 15 games in a weird season...just sad..Now they are coming back to earth. They are a good team, with some top end talent, but the media was acting like they were the 80's oilers.Matthews shouldn't even be top 5 in Hart voting but he'll probably end up being a finalist because of the leafs media.
I dread the day when Matthews is fairly close to the top of the points race and he wins the most undeserved Hart ever simply because of the jersey he wears
I wish I could fast forward to the playoffs and watch them get knocked out in the 1st round by the 4th seed. I want them to finish 1st in the North for maximum embarrassment. It is pretty wild the disrespect especially leon gets in the hockey media....I'd take Leon over matthews. It's funny because McDavid still leads the NHL in points right now with only goals and primary assists."McDavid won't win the Hart because he has too many secondary assists this season. How many secondary goals does Matthews have?"
-James Mirtle most likely.
I've decided that over 100 = all of the points
Or he could do all of that.He will score somewhere around 1.5 ppg as per usual. Tippett and Holland are giving him every opportunity to do with ridiculous ice/PP time and his pick of linemates.
I'd rather he get less than ppg, no awards, but Posta +20 plus minus while staying healthy. Far better for the team if he did that rather than primarily focus on offense like he has been the last year or more.
