I picked 52 for the season in the early season poll/thread so I'll stick with that number. Their early season spurt threatens my chances.

I think we may win about 3 games and lose a couple in OT, so I'd say 8 points. I mistakenly voted 10 points tho. Oops.

This roster will get lucky to push a game to overtime. Pretty much icing a ok AHL team.

I think we might pick up a win, maybe two, when playing against teams who have already clinched a division/conference win, and don't want their best players to risk something unlucky, like the off chance of Boro actually connecting with a hit in open ice. Or one of their own players accidentally hitting them in the face with a slap shot.

Our guys will still have to play their best to beat those kinds of teams, even without their best players. Like seriously, Even if the leafs rest Matthews and Tavares in a game against us, they're still probably going to win, and I hate it.

But anyway, I voted 6 points from here on out, 1 win, and 4 OTL/SO losses. Everything else we lose in regulation.

I voted 4, mostly because I think that at some point the team just completely dials it in.

We're going to catch a few teams as the season winds down who are saving their energy for the playoffs and (rightly) overlook us, and we'll catch them by surppise and somehow drag a win out of them.

Teams who have been bad all season historically have a slight tendency to improve statistically over the final 15 games. We'll get a few W's because teams won't take us seriously and mentally they will already be preparing for the next game before finishing ours.

I mean... we're still going to finish in last. Don't get me wrong. I just think we'll win another 5 or so games down the stretch on the way to locking up that basement finish.

Went with 6 but could honestly be anywhere between 4 and 10 IMO.

I picked 11.

I still think we'll limp our way there. 8 points in 15 games? Totally reasonable.

Especially if 72 keeps playing like he did tonight. You saw flashes of it against Florida, and more again tonight - Chabot was starting to look more like the guy we saw prior to his injury. We need him to drive possession, especially given how badly we get caved in with 74 and 5 on the ice. If Chabot is back to being the emerging star he was in the first half of the year, it instantly makes us more competitive...
