I'm guessing none. The team has already indicated that Marchand would be in the line-up tonight.
i mean, is he even "eligible" to be suspended? I think we would have heard DoPS say they are taking a look at it by now, if they indeed were...?
As stated above, the correct answer is None. Otherwise, the league would have stated that he has to sit out while they review the incident.
The process is such that any games missed while you are ineligible (during the review of the incident), are taken into consideration when punishment is doled out. Not the other way around.
Should be zero.
Should and will be zero
I don't know the difference between this and Domi. Same people that said Ekblad should have protected himself and it shouldn't have been a suspension are the same people who say this was a fair fight.
According to this Marchand is not getting suspended.
Nope... not a Bruins fan either.
Marchand is one of the guys a least like in sports. However, so long as the players want fighting to be part of the game, somebody has to start one. He got 5+2, that was enough.
Marchand did nothing wrong this time, he dealt with it how it should have been instead of his usual dirty plays.
Should be at least 3 games.
If it were any other Bruin fighting Eller, nobody here would even be talking about a suspension.
