How many estimated wins for Price?

I'm thinking about taking Carey Price in my hockey fantasy league. How many wins do you estimate that he'll get out of the 40 games he'll likely start?

He'll probably start 43 or 44 (maybe less if we fall way out of the hunt) and I see him winning 24ish of those. I think Carey has the upperhand over a lot of other goalies as he always has a heavy workload and the more jam-packed season shouldn't bother him as much as the goalies who only start 55-60 games.

Assuming he plays 40 games, I expect 15-18 wins.

While you are here...Who will Sharp play with? I grabbed him in two fantasy leagues but I haven't done my homework this year :P

Realistically... a .500 record for the Habs is probably a decent median bet... 20-20-8, say. Of 20 wins, Price gets, what, 18?

Of course, the team could do a little better than this, or a little worse (and that margin will be the difference between 7-8th place and 14-15th, probably). Range of 14-22 wins, say.

Not sure, I think he'll play with Hossa, but on the Powerplay he'll probably be with Toews and Kane.

Yup, this is entirely reasonable.

A good question as well is how many points to make the playoffs.

I'd say anywhere from 20-25, I expect him to play about 42. Price is young and in great shape, should do well in terms of GP in a compact season.

I expect Price will need more rest than in a typical season. I'd say he probably only plays 35-40 games, so 15-18wins sounds about right for me.
