Or do they not adjust at all? Which is probably what the NHL wants(higher scoring games and all).
Or do the teams somehow adjust.
I was watching hockey on Saturday and heard the announcers say 2 interesting things:
1. The new shoulder pads goalies have to wear have opened the top part of the net. (Check it out, that part is definitely true).
2. The preseason format means teams aren't used to playing with each other when the season starts( but this hasn't changed from the recent past so I see this as being less of a factor).
I feel like I say this every year, but scoring is definitely up right now...how long until teams fix this if at all. I mean it's not like players are going to keep their 30%-50% scoring percentage so...
