It is only one game so everything can happen,Munich has some really good german players like Hager Wolf Seidenberg + probably the best coach in the DEL.Nevertheless Frölunda is the big favorite. I would say 70:30
Implied probability according to my bookie:

Frölunda HC: 1.35 (74,1 %)
EHC Munich: 3.00 (33,3 %)

So roughly 70/30.

I don't see how could you draw that conclusion from my message.
It's like saying that it's realistic that France will defeat Canada because it has happened in the past. It's a silly way of reasoning. Canada beats France 9 times out of 10. Maybe more.

Yes, because a team consisting mostly of players from Ligue Magnus versus a team consisting entirely of top NHLers and a team consisting of DEL players versus a team consisting of SHL and KHL players are such alike comparisons.

But what about the 40 hot dogs in ten minutes?

del is better than liiga
If we look at totalt CHL points collected 15/16-18/19 (maximum points 400) then I'd say Germany is fourth or fifth best CHL league in Europe depending on how you see it.

1 Sweden 395
2 Switzerland 355
2 Finland 355
3 Czech Rep 340
4 Germany 325
5 Austria 290

Adler Mannheim and Red Bull München would be among the top teams in every European league, not counting the KHL. Those two teams seem to separate more from the rest of the pack in the DEL.

Now and in the next years the DEL could be indeed better than Liiga(depend CHL Results). The performance
by Liiga-Clubs in CHL ist going weaker year by year.

The average budget in the DEL is about ten million euros, in Finland only the very biggest reach that.

I don’t know how credible this source is but this is the salaries for some leagues in Europe.

KHL 100 000 - 1 200 000 USD (85 000 - 1 022 000 Euros)
NLA 100 000 - 450 000 Swiss Francs (93 000 - 417 000)
SHL 80 000 - 250 000 Euro
DEL 40 000 - 200 000 Euro
Liiga 30 000 - 125 000 Euro
Extraliga 30 000 - 200 000 USD (25 000 - 170 000 Euro)

Projected Player Salaries 2020 – 2021 – 2112HockeyAgency.com

NLA should actually be better than SHL but everything makes sense and correlates to what we are seeing in the CHL.

Swiss players have very high salaries relative to playing ability, the best would take a pay cut going anywhere else including the NHL.

It could also be that those figures are incorrect. According to Malmö’s GM there are players that make more than 400 000 SEK a month or almost 460 000 euros a year, he says that there are even players who make 500 000 SEK a month or 570 000 euros/year.

It could actually be that SHL have the highest salaries in Europe, excluding KHL of course. That would make sense since SHL is completely dominant in CHL. No team comes really close to SHL’s level. If SHL can perform that well with lower salaries than some of its competitors then that would be impressive, but it is more logical that SHL simply pay their players more than other leagues.

I have my doubts about the exact accuracy as well, but at least the general truth about Swiss wages is along those lines. That's one and arguably the biggest reason why you rarely see players from certain countries go abroad. From Switzerland the traffic is rather just to the NHL if anywhere, from Sweden some do go to Switzerland or the KHL but the rest of the European expats are simply not good enough for the SHL jobs. Then again from Finland and many other leagues you have players going to all kinds of places.
