How does this team stack up?

As a fellow Pens fans I think you're a homer in your assessment of these three rivals. They all look very exciting in my opinion.

I'd say most of what you stated is false. But agree to disagree. I hope you're right.

I chose 5-6. Im not overly optimistic about this season.

Offensively i feel they are ok. I think they wills core at above clip compared to the league avg.

Defense is .. eesh. Not good. Letang and Shultz are hit or miss. One game they are lights out, the next they are awful .. especially Letang. He can be he SO good .. but so fn bad. Dumo is the only D we have thats solid and dependable. Dont know how Tanev will fit. JMFJ is what he is...a trainwreck. The D is not good overall. They leave Murray out to dry way too often.

Goaltending: sure Murray is awesome but he isnt getting much help in front of him. So unless he goes all Giguere, it might not be so smooth.

So all in all, schmeh. Im excited for the seson but nervous at the outcome.
