Pens have a great track record for being able to land elite big name wingers without touching their core. First Hossa, then Iggy and now Kessel.
How do they do it?
How do they do it?
Well the first two didnt exactly last , I imagine the third will be in the same category.
iginla was a rental and on the downside of his career.
He's scored 60 goals in the last two seasons. "Downside of his career" is still better than every winger Pittsburgh has had until Kessel.
in two non playoff years.
Except when he lead the President's Trophy winning team in goals in both regular season and playoffs.
Because players want to play there...
Another 1st place this year.....playoffs are a crapshoot and injuries hurt them the last few years..
