I thought for sure you were going to say you follow the NHL 30 minutes after the broadcast starts :sarcasm:

That's so annoying though

On British TV if the schedule says a football or rugby game is starting at 3pm, that's when it ****ing starts, sure the TV broadcast starts early so they have pre-game chat and all that but on the OFFICIAL WEBSITE when it says the actual game is starting at a certain time, that's the time it starts.

The best part is CBC does a 30 minute pre-game show before the actual broadcast... and then seemingly re-do it when the actual broadcast starts.

American football & baseball are usually the opposite. When they have a time, you tune in, and it's starting at or within a couple minutes of that time. For some reason NBA & NHL have a lot of suits who want air time before games start though.
