I know . Ron Hextall was 6’4 and wore 34” pads. Some of these guys are wearing 40+ inch pads and it has nothing to do with protection

And Ron played in a different time and a different style!

Guess what, things evolve, it happens.

Shall we look a the new technology that players get to use?

Do they need those shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants, etc, for protection against the game?? I mean have you seen Messier's shoulder pads?!?!? It's crazy that players get to wear this new stuff!! They didn't in the past.

How about stick technology?? We should go back to Koho's because that's what they used to use!!

The game has evolved....the equipment has evolved along with it.
