Brule seems to be holding his own in the CBJ camp. I watched him play on Sunday night and while he didn't exactly stand out, he did play well (scored a shootout goal, as well) and hold his own physically and speed-wise. Coach Gallant describes him as a "competitive little guy".

He's expected to play in most, if not all, of the remaining exhibition games, including the one tonight against Detroit. I'll be there and report back how he did.
