There’s is just nothing that should cause that big of a difference.

Is having last change that big of an effect on the Pens? Do they not get up for away games.

Its mainly a motivation thing IMO, almost every game the Pens don't show up in is on the road.

The Pens are 4-1 on the road against the Caps Flyers and CBJ.

When they are excited and motivated to play on the road its not a big problem.

Pens have phoned in a ton of games this year. Easier to do that when you're not playing in front of your fans who paid good money to come see you.

Yeah, it's almost like the Pens want to at least look like a halfway decent team in front of their home fans. When they're on the road, they can just coast the entire 60 minutes without worrying about the fans.

No, but I meant if we continue to slide and end up losing the #2 spot in the Metro.

We're only 1 point up on Columbus and 2 up on Philly, I believe.

I think this year has been a year light on coaching and game planning, and heavy on surviving. It’s a lot like last year except even worse with no goaltending aside from a 3 week stretch. The fact that they’re a dominant home team speaks favourably for the potential to flip that switch like Game 7 Washington and Game 6 Nashville. We’ll see though.

The Pens have had the worst schedule in the league, with 5 months less rest than most of the league the last 24 months.. so as embarrassing basically every second road game is I can understand.
