Let's hope that our boys stay out of the box so that the lines get more evenly distributed ice time, and that Myers and Little use their brains a bit more this time.

I think they will need this one if they want to get 6 points in the first 5 games. Home openers with all the pomp are usually tough on the home teams and the home fans (drop the puck).

Hopefully tonight’s the night the team starts skating but I usually don’t panic until game 10. Line combinations are so over rated on our board it’s a joke. We need the team to show up on time and play with speed, when that happens we tend to win with any line combinaions.

Same thing with penalties refs don’t have it out for us and the officials are equally shitty to all 31 teams. When we play slow and dopey we take allot of penalties and we deserve most of them. When we play fast mentally and physically we take way less penalties.

It’s game 3 and in case anyone has missed it the entire league is still pretty crazy right now so we just need to hang in.

Oh yea and have fun........I have to remember this is suppose to be fun.....:sarcasm:

Tight gaps, fast in transition. Don't let the Kings turn this into a sludge fest, which they will want to do.

Who cares who plays with who, doesn't matter. Just.........play.........fast.

No stupid penalties.......Buff....Myers :skeptic:

I'll say it again - it is easier to get going as a team once you have a chance to do the matchups you want. Beginning of the Cup run tonight!

2 games - 9 penalties - 66.7% PK ... this has to stop. Even last season we were 4th worst in times short-handed, but at least the PK% was 81.8%.

I don't mind the penalties taken because you are playing on the edge, but just because you are lazy... has to stop... tonight.

Jets should come out top but the kings especially Kovalchuk are looking good these past 2 games. Their first periods are their weakness, interesting to note that Bryan Little is the only player left on the former Atlanta team who had Kovalchuk as a teammate
