Sure, because that is what I think. You bring up someone trying to discredit someone else, I will bring it up if I think they are potentially unreliable and a piece of **** journalist.

Fair enough. Everybody hates journalists these days so thats nothing new.

It isn't about him covering trans issues, it is his fixation. He has been criticized immensely for some of the stuff he has written and his demeanor towards trans activists that challenge him on these issues.

Also he has had some completely garbage takes which I cannot understand why he thought were insightful:

Maybe he has gotten better, but he certainly cut out a specific niche for himself prior to today.

Singal's Atlantic article that's referenced there is fine and not transphobic in the least. It's a nuanced take that considers the totality of evidence available and opens up a discussion. Gender-identity fluidity is very real in adolescence, and while individuals who need to transition are also very real, it's not a black and white issue. I can't speak to what he's done on Twitter as I'm not on the platform.

I disagree, but whatever.

What do you find inaccurate or offensive about it?
The specifics of the article are going to take this thread even more on topic, and even if I do voice my concerns there is no guarantee you would agree with the conclusion. Let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Of course, there's no guarantee both people will agree in any discussion, but there's nothing inherently wrong with that. I'm just not sure why you brought it up if you're unwilling to discuss it. I am interested in hearing your viewpoint though, so if you want to discuss it privately then shoot me a message.

It could be a "sick man routine" however it could just as easily be the effects of extreme stress and the fear of going to jail for the rest of his life. Both can have very serious effects on your body.
And knowing what he has done to so many young women, I definitely hope it's the latter.

it is the bill cosby defence playbook.

Harvery as great up to about 72 hours before the trial started then once his lawyer realized he was being watched he started using the device

What’s going on with James Franco? Hasn’t he been accused of bad behaviour by a number of women?

I don't think there have been any new developments since the latest news this past October. There has been so much creepy behavior from him over the years.

With Spielberg stepping down from IJ5, wonder if he's now be Me Too'ed. I don't think he has, but in this day and age you can never be sure.

I suspect that it has to do with his daughter announcing just a week earlier that she's entering the porn industry. He may not be able to concentrate enough to prepare for and then film Indy 5 over the coming months. On top of that, he has a West Side Story remake scheduled for release in December, so juggling the three things might really be too much for his plate and stepping down may better allow him to put the finishing touches on that.
